My work is based on contrasting textures, which are inspired by patterns in my surroundings, both natural and manmade. Often these designs remind customers of places or memories which are personal to them. All my textures are created first, using a range of techniques and developed into jewellery which is both contemporary and wearable. Some pieces, I have enhanced the textures by oxidising them and combining the Korean technique of Keum Boo, which fuses 24-carat gold using heat and pressure. The oxidised silver is a really good contrast for the gold. This is the range I have really enjoyed developing during this strange year of 2020. I still have two other collections, my hammered range and the combined textured range available.
