Full-time artist after leaving teaching. Based in Ludlow, Shropshire. I travel the country to find wildlife in its natural setting for my paintings. Having a story for each piece. My style developed from visiting galleries in England and abroad. In particular Scottsdale, California. I loved the rich colour pallets used and I wanted my artwork to reflect that same richness. I've always loved nature and want to paint the beauty of it up close. When I create, sometimes the subject needs to have a setting to fully appreciate it and other times it needs to be the only focus.
