Greetings Today Magazine, sponsors of the Greetings Card Award and the ‘Just Because’ Award.

Sponsored by Greetings Today, the largest-circulation trade magazine for the greetings industry and the only one to be independently audited. Judged at the show by Greetings Today editor Tracey Bearton alongside an independent buyer and established publisher (to be confirmed shortly), they will pick a Winner, Highly Commended and Commended plus a Just Because from all the greetings exhibitors. They’ll be judged on a combination of originality, commercial viability, and wow factor with the Just Because winner chosen for exactly that reason – just because the judges like it. At The Giftware Association we recognise the remarkable talent and creativity on display at the British Craft Trade Fair. Each year we are proud to present The Giftware Association Award for Excellence in recognition of well-designed products with commercial viability.

Each exhibitor can vote for any other exhibitor whose work or display they feel is the most outstanding in the show. The winner will receive a one year, free membership of designGAP/ARTgap, free page on the designGAP/ARTgap website and a free inclusion in the spring designGAP/ARTgap directory.

The Pyramid Gallery, sponsors of the BCTF Award for Excellence

Entry for this award is automatic and is open to all the makers exhibiting. The judges will select a Winner, and 2 Highly Commended. They will be Judged on Professionalism, Skill, Workmanship, Design, Creativity, and Stand Display.

Pyramid Gallery has been representing British crafts in York since 1982, and has been owned and managed by Terry Brett since 1994. All craft disciplines are represented with particular emphasis on jewellery, glass, ceramics, wood, bronze, textiles, printmaking and sculpture in all mediums.

The Winner’s prize will be a solo exhibition in 2019/2020  held at the Pyramid Gallery in York and will run for a minimum of 4 weeks.

The prize for the two Highly Commended winners is a joint exhibition in 2019/2020 held at the Pyramid Gallery in York. Again, the exhibition will run for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Along with this fantastic prize all winners will receive a certificate presented to them at the award ceremony.
